Regular Yoga or Prenatal Yoga Classes?

Monday evening 6.30-7.30pm Pregnancy Yoga

*Wednesday evening 7.45-8.45pm Meditation - Yoga Nidra

*Friday evening 6.00 - 7.15pm Bliss Yoga (Restorative Yoga)

*Sunday evening 6.30-7.30pm Soundbath Meditation

*Our relaxation classes are open to pregnant ladies in trimester 2 & 3. You can attend these on a regular pac by prior arrangement.

In trimester 2, you may also attend Hatha with Lucy, by prior arrangement & on a regular pac.

Our regular yoga posture classes are not suitable for pregnancy & we recommend you attend the prenatal class throughout this short but important phase of your life.  Our prenatal class helps to prepare for birth in many ways, including movement, breathing techniques & pelvic floor work – it’s a great time to be curious & explore these new areas in a pregnancy yoga class. In prenatal yoga you can be sure that every movement is safe for you & your baby.

If attending a regular posture classes when pregnant without checking first, your entrance will depend upon the teacher’s qualifications/insurance & the studio’s discretion & you may be turned away. 



Please check with your doctor &/or midwife that you are able to start a prenatal yoga class. You can start prenatal yoga from 14+ weeks & keep coming until birth-date, please call or email to discuss if you have any queries.

You don’t need to be fit already & no matter how you feel about yourself this class will be safe & useful to you. Similarly, if you are very fit already, we can modify things so that you get a good SAFE practice too.

Pregnant mums & postnatal mums are encouraged to wait for their 6 week doctor's sign off & then come back gently, our 7.45pm classes are full of mums who find it a good time to get out. Yin Yoga is not suitable for pregnancy or whilst breast-feeding.
